Convert a Virtual Card to Physical Card

Lithic now supports ordering a VIRTUAL card first and at a later point in time “upgrading” the card to a PHYSICAL card through the new Convert Virtual to Physical endpoint. This allows for a virtual card to be delivered instantly then at a later time, whenever you decide, the card can be converted to a physical card that will be manufactured and shipped to the cardholder.

The card token, PAN, and CVV2 will remain the same allowing continuity of spend for card-not-present transactions while waiting for the physical card. Once the user activates the physical card it can be spent at POS terminals or continue to be used for card-not-present transactions.

This will also emit a card.converted webhook.

Don't need a delay between ordering the virtual card and shipping a physical card?
