New ACH processing event: RETURN_SETTLED

We are excited to announce starting Feb, 3rd, 2025 an enhancement to our ACH processing workflow with the introduction of a new event: RETURN_SETTLED. This event provides a near real-time notification when an ACH return bouncing a receipt has been fully settled, offering greater transparency and control over your transactions.

What's Changing?

Previously, our ACH return process included two events:

  • RETURN_INITIATED: Indicates that an ACH return has been initiated.
  • RETURN_PROCESSED: Signifies that the return has been processed.

With this update, we are adding:

  • RETURN_SETTLED: This new event will be triggered once the ACH return has been fully settled, confirming the completion of the return process.

Action Required:

Verify that your systems are configured to receive the RETURN_SETTLED event.
