Overview
We are introducing a acceptor_terminal_id to the pos.terminal object within the transaction object. This field was previously made available in the Authorization Steam Access (ASA) request.
The Acceptor Terminal ID value uniquely identifies a terminal at the card acceptor location of acquiring institutions or merchant POS systems.
Impact
The transaction object is returned by the:
- Get Card Transaction endpoint,
- List Card Transactions endpoint, and
- Event webhooks of type
card_transaction.updated
Customers using any of the above will observe a new pos.terminal.acceptor_terminal_id field.
