Endpoint standardization, Authorization Rules (beta), and physical card improvements

Endpoint Standardization

We are always striving to make our API more intuitive and user-friendly by designing our endpoints to align with API best practices. This month, we rolled out a set of non-breaking changes to our some of our endpoints to standardize our users’ experiences with parameters, resource naming, response payloads, and more! Existing endpoints that any user is integrated to will continue to work.

Authorization Rules (beta)

We released Authorization Rules (Auth Rules) in beta! This feature lets customers allow or block transactions from specific countries or merchant types, as well as enable ZIP code checks on transactions.

Last year we launched Authorization Stream Access, which allows customers to decision based on customized logic using real-time transaction data. It quickly became one of the most widely used features in our Enterprise offering.

Since then, many users have requested additional flexibility to set custom authorization logic on cards and accounts. This new feature delivers that by making it easy to create, update, and apply rules on card transactions.

The beta version of Authorization Rules will be available to all of our customers in our sandbox and to a select group of clients in production. If you would like access to the beta, please reach out to your Lithic representative.

Physical Card Improvements - additional shipping options and international shipping now available

We updated our card documentation to now allow customers to specify a shipping method option (standard, standard with tracking, and expedited) and to send cards to non-USA addresses when creating physical cards. The use of both features must first be configured by your Lithic representative; reach out for more information.
